I'm looking for a long-term Vancouver room in a shared house or apartment for July 1st (or earlier, if possible). Apparently, the person I've been sharing an apt with since May can't have roommates, so unfortunately I can't stay.
I have a rare cancer of the immune system and last month I completed short-term chemo treatment at VGH/BC Cancer Agency. I will need further long-term chemo when my Specialist feels the time is right. I'm hopeful that is later, rather than sooner.
My preference is a quiet, non-smoking place, that includes wifi. Ideally it will be on the West Side (such as Granville St) so that I can more easily access ongoing medical appointments and future treatment using public transit. I like to educate my friends about my cancer journey through self-portraits. I'm a non-smoker, non-drinker, and have never used drugs. I'm very quiet, maintain a healthy attitude, and read books daily. I gain positive energy from my community and supportive encouragement from my friends. I have a limited budget, as I'm low income due to my disease.
